There is no jump. There is a ladder, and every rung has a price, an exit test, and a scene you will recognise. Half of every fee is paid when the exit test passes, not when the invoice arrives.
Every engagement on the ladder is fixed fee, with an exit test defined before we start. If you do not pass it, you have not paid the second half.
Fixed fees are 50% on signature and 50% when the exit test passes. Retainers and programmes are paid monthly in advance by debit order.
We do not hand the problem back and close the file. We work until it passes, and we do not invoice for that time.
The Readiness and Governance Assessment fee is credited in full against any build you sign within 90 days. A policy your board can sign and a POPIA impact assessment is what the fee buys.
No price below the book without the CEO's written approval, decided the next day and never in the room. If the number is wrong, take a smaller rung instead.
Model and licence costs sit on your own accounts and are estimated in every proposal. Nothing we build can be held against you.
Clients always use their own accounts. Connections start read-only, with an audit trail and a rollback we have actually run.
Twelve yes-or-no questions place you on a rung from L0 to L6, and eight more tell us how ready you are to climb. Ten minutes, alone, no salesperson.
Not the programme. One rung, fixed fee, with an exit test written down before we start. If it does not work, you keep everything and we have not been paid for it.
When the exit test passes you can stop, and most people should. Climbing two rungs at once is how businesses end up with an office they do not recognise.
The scorecard is free, takes about ten minutes, and tells you three things: the rung you are on, how ready you are to climb, and the one rung we would sell you next. About three in four people worldwide have barely touched AI yet.
